Here is my review of Gold in Locks by Alta Hensley.
Blurb:
She trespassed into our world, innocent and vulnerable.
She doesn’t belong here, but that won’t stop us from claiming her.
We will lock her away in our mountain cabin, hidden deep in the forest.
She’ll be compelled to obey and serve our darkest desires.
Our beautiful golden-haired captive will learn to love the chains which bind her to us.
Three brothers, each more beastly than the last.
There will be no escape from this twisted fairytale.
For there are three villains in this story.
And in this ending… she is ours. [Amazon]
My Review:
This book is graphic and could cause triggers for some. May not be suitable for some readers. I am in awe. This is such a good story. It has so many twists and turns, it will leave you breathless. And possibly a few tears.
The Barrett brothers went to issue Goldie a warning, stay away from their sister. “You picked the wrong person to try to con, and we won’t let you fool an innocent girl. This is the only time we are going to tell you. Leave Kit alone, or we’ll make damn sure you do.”
“Goldie made a living, as small and pathetic as it may be, convincing people she was a modern-day witch.” Goldie was furious. Who are these men to tell her she can’t be friends with Kit? Kit was a good kid and she enjoyed her company.
